Point of Social Media ClipArt

In general, try to navigate your thinking away from social media
clipart as just something to make things look pretty. While aesthetics
are important, work on changing your aesthetic values away from simply
what looks good. Instead this of social media clipart as part of the
aesthetics that excites your audience and moves them into action. When
you have social media content and advertisement do really well, make a
note of the words used, but also of the image used. Same thing applies
for when content or ads flop. There is often insight that can be gained
both in the success and failure of content/ads about what sort of images
your target audience responds best to.

Consider this when choosing social media clipart images:

1) If there are people in the images do the people represent the age and general dress/feel of your target demographic?
2) Does the image appropriately represent your content and your brand?
3) Is the image interesting to your target client?
4) Does the image evoke curiosity?
5) Does the image provide clarity?

In testing ads and social media content, it is amazing how much an image matters. Sometimes just changing an image can make a huge difference with whether or not someone clicks on your offering. We have run many ads that are identical side by side changing only the image. And time and time again, we get the same result. Pictures and images matter. We are visual creatures and respond to things we see. If someone sees an advertisement or a piece of content that has an image that turns them off, or makes them think that it is for a different age or demographic, they will move on quickly. Often times images grab people’s attention more than words. Therefore, taking a moment to think about what sort of images your target customer might gravitate towards is essential for truly reaching the highest level of success with your content.

Make Sure Your Social Media Clipart is on Brand

The more people can look at your brand and what you offer and clearly delineate if what you are offering is for them or not, the more successful you will be. The goal is to attract the people you can help and serve. When this is done well, your target customer will feel so much like you are talking specifically to just them, that those that your product/service is not for, will often feel the opposite. Your choices in social media clip art make a big difference with this. Social media clipart and images are only part of the equation of course.
